Roofs for round buildings tend to be a little trickier because of all the angles, but they make up for it in beauty and aerodynamics. If you want to build a
heavy wood compression style roof, a continuous bond beam would be appropriate. If you want to use Velcro plates instead on a large diameter building, the roof members will need to be supported by an internal wall or post and beam structure that will direct the weight of the roof downward instead of outward — mimicking a shed-style roof (Fig. 9.18 & 9.19).
