Acconci Studio Wolfgang Hermann Niemeyer Wind energy is translated into the unlikely rotation of a mechanical platform embedded in the courtyard of Munich's building department administrative building. A turbine placed atop the building tower captures wind energy that is used to power a turntable of landscape, lying within the protected confines of the building's walls. A connection, however abstract and perhaps invisible, is made between the force of wind and the slow rotation of the platform....
